About 1st Unique Gifts

1st Unique Gifts is a small family business specialising in creating hand-painted personalised gifts for special people. Especially special little people! Whatever you want, you can have. You can choose to have any names, dates or messages on your painting, clock, etc., and you can choose any colour, too. You could even request a bespoke design. We'll do what we can. It's all produced in our garden studio in Cheshire - so we can adapt our designs to suit your request. Just ask!
Who paints them all?Our artist is Wendy Massey, who designs and paints all our gifts, although she does have extra help at busy times with some of the painting, etc. Wendy has a background of designing & writing for craft magazines, painting murals and furniture, teaching, and childrenswear design. Read Wendy's online diary here: www.1stUniqueGifts.co.uk/blog Is everything really all hand painted?Yes, everything. We don't at the moment produce prints, although we may do in the future. We pride ourselves on producing gifts and accessories of a high quality, but it should be noted that, as with all handmade goods, there will be slight variations in each piece. This does mean that nobody in the world will have exactly the same product as you. We think that's rather nice in today's world of mass production, and hope you do too. Can I see the products in a shop?
At the moment, we only sell directly. It helps keep the price down and the quality up. But you can see us at events around the UK - see the Events page for more info. If you live in the North West of England, you could book us to come to your school, playgroup or home - we'll help you raise funds, as you'll get commission on all sales. |
