At the moment, everything you see on the website is hand painted and hand lettered by me (with a little help occasionally).  This may change as we get busier and busier.

My background includes teaching, childrenswear design, magazine writing and mural painting.  Four people on the planet call me Mum and two call me Grandma. I live with my youngest child and my partner (who is a bit shy and will be referred to as Mr 1st Unique) as well as our rabbit Sooty. 

I don’t have much spare time at the moment, but when I do you’ll find me renovating the neglected dormer bungalow we bought recently, or doing something organic or creative in the equally neglected large garden attached to it.

My favourite things include: cake, chocolate, potatoes, fresh ginger, the colour blue, beaches (and beachcombing), sunny days, swimming in the sea (but not in winter), reading, writing, eating healthily (except for an overabundance of cake, chocolate and potatoes), learning new things, being creative, nice people, organic gardening, painting and sketching.

My least favourite things include: any sort of ill health, getting through to a machine on the phone instead of a real person, the colour yellow, food places with no vegetarian options unless it’s smothered in cheese, TVs turned on with nobody watching.

I have a big interest in both migraine and multiple sclerosis.  I suffer from the first, and Mr 1st Unique from the second.
