Families Recommend is the online version of word of mouth recommendations for families by families.  You know that what you’re reading about on there has been recommended by someone who has enjoyed it already.

Do you know of a good online shop for families (well, apart from mine, that is!) or a great place to go for a day out?  Now you can recommend them to other families online so others can find out about them and enjoy them too.

I must say a big thank you to Statham Primary School in Lymm, Cheshire, who invited me to sell my hand-painted gifts at their Summer Fair yesterday.

It was a lovely day!  Everyone was very friendly, the children were delightful, and I was kept entertained by some very talented youngsters who sang, danced and magic-tricked their way through the afternoon on the stage nearby.

It was a successful afternoon sales-wise too, as I made a profit and was able to give the school a 10% donation, which is always nice. 

Thanks again, Statham parents, teachers and children, for inviting me and for a very pleasant afternoon with some very smiley, happy faces!
