If you were one of the children, parents, grandparents or members of staff I met on Sunday at St Lewis’ Primary School in Croft, can I say a big thank you to you for making me feel so welcome at your Christmas Fair, and for all the lovely comments about my products - as well as the purchases you made.  It was a lovely afternoon, and a lovely atmosphere.  The cake stall was my favourite!!!  It really was a luxury for me to attend such a local event - I was back home in two minutes!

Next weekend, I am attending another very local event - Croft Preschool is holding a shopping evening on Friday 27th November.  It’s £3 admission, but that includes a glass of wine!  I’m looking forward to another great event.  This one is even closer - it’s at the Memorial Hall and I’ll be home inside a minute!! 

Of course, these local events are spoiling me a bit.  On Saturday and Sunday (the 28th and 29th) I’ll be travelling to the Lowther Pavilion, West Beach in Lytham (FY8 5QQ).  It’s a lovely place, but a lot further to travel!  The glimpse I’ll get of the sea will cheer me up and hopefully make up for the drive.  There’s a bit more info here: http://creativecrafts-online.co.uk/html/latest_news.html
