All clocks come with a mechanism at the back which has an integral hanging loop for hanging from the wall.  They take one AA battery (not supplied).

At some point today I just knew it was going to be a good day - sometimes, you just get that feeling, don’t you?  Today was one of those days.  I didn’t feel like that at midnight, though, when I picked my daughter up from her babysitting job at a local pub and had to pass a serious road accident - twice. (I must admit I was very thankful I hadn’t left home two minutes earlier or I could’ve been part of it myself.)  Nor at 2.30 am when I couldn’t get to sleep.  And not even at 7 am when the bleariness didn’t want to go away!

I think it felt good from when I realised I had time in the studio this morning because the craft market was a late start.  It felt even better when, on the way, I burst out laughing at the sign on a chalkboard outside another local pub.  It read: “We’ve sacked the ugly one.  Come on inside!”  I’m very tempted to drive back and get a photo of it, but I’m quite tired at the moment.  (If I do get a picture of it, I will upload it for you!)  If you’re in Croft, it’s outside the Plough on Heath Lane.  Do look out for it!!

It felt great getting there and having lots of space, in a barn setting on a lovely farm with a fab shop and cafe.  With lovely, friendly, helpful people.  Oh, and cake.

Oh my word, cake.  The cake (and chocolate) stall was courtesy of www.thecocoaemporium.co.uk who are based in Afflecks Palace, Church Street, Manchester.  Are you in Manchester anytime soon?  Then I can certainly highly recommend their chocolate ginger cake - it is just divine.  Gorgeous cupcakes, too - including vegan ones, no less!  They even do deliveries on a Friday afternoon within Manchester city centre if you pre-order by Wednesday.  Just the thing, I would’ve thought, for a Friday afternoon treat.

OK, the main aim of the day was getting out and selling my own goodies - and it was definitely a good day for that too!  Clocks were popular today.  Campervans

If you’re in or around the Warrington area this Sunday (31st May), do come down to Grappenhall Community Centre on Bellhouse Lane, where you’ll find a craft fair - and me.  Well, not sure I’ll be any sort of attraction, but let’s hope there’s at least a slight ripple of interest in the 1st Unique Gifts range.  I know there will be a lot of other great craft stalls there - a really good mix.
