Painted letters
September 26, 2009 | Posted by Wendy I promised you a sneak preview of the new letters I’ve made this week.
They are available in more or less any colour or combination of colours. The largest height of the letters is approximately 15cm (6″). They look great across a child’s wall.

All letters are painted in a shabby-chic distressed style, so that there are bits of the wood ground showing through the paint, especially around the edges. This is a design feature, and up to now is the only effect we are doing with these particular letters. There is a stitched effect running around all the edges, which is done with a permanent marker pen. I think it makes them very cute and very shabby chic!
