Surprises can be lovely. 

When you discover that someone has said lovely things about you, then it’s all good.  Thank you Kim from Former Glory for my mention on your blog, a delightful surprise.  I’m amazed, but humbled, that anyone should be in awe of me.  Kim is highly skilled in weaving chair seats and so is truly talented.  Click the link above to pop by and see her work!

I was again surprised today when a roll of bubblewrap I’d ordered from an online packaging specialist arrived . . . packed in a knotted binbag!  Not sure what that says about packaging specialists  - I found it slightly ironic and amusing – but I guess bubblewrap doesn’t need much packaging

My third surprise today involved having acupuncture treatment for the first time (I’m hoping it may alleviate my migraines a little.  They’ve been a little bit unpredictable in the past few weeks so let’s hope for a little bit more stability and fewer surprises on that front).  I must say I was definitely pleasantly surprised at how relaxing the treatment was, which is not the image you get from the thought of being used as a pincushion.  It was slightly alarming that the first needle went into my head – but it wasn’t painful and didn’t induce a migraine!  The way I’ve been lately, that in itself was a bit of a surprise.
