I’ve been meaning to photograph these new chicken gifts for a couple of weeks now, but I’ve been so busy with customer orders, I’ve just not been able to do it.
For hen-keepers and hen-lovers everywhere, I’ve created some new unique and (I hope you agree) gorgeous chicken-themed gifts. I love these moneyboxes, and it seems my customers do too. I seem to be selling them before they’ve had chance to be photographed!
Chicken money box for somewhere to put the egg money
I made a few of these moneyboxes with different wording on them. It said: It’s not much of a business plan, Maud, we manufacture a product for chickenfeed. One was made with the customer’s daughter’s name replacing Maud (and I’ve done a few other names to go with customers’ chicken names!).

This is where Ditzy comes into the picture. Anyone in the know knows I have a beautiful, highly intelligent lawyer-in-the-making daughter… who is also incredibly ditzy.

Ditzy Daughter was back home the other week and helped me at a local fair. She was pondering the moneyboxes and said: “You really should have one that says shoe fund, something that people save up for. I mean, egg money, you won’t sell those - who saves up to buy eggs?”

The door hanger above should raise a few smiles. Useful to warn your guests that your free-rangers are free-ranging!
hen and chicken baby door plaque
This door plaque (above) is just so cute. It can be made with absolutely any wording, as I hand-paint everything and am happy to make something exactly to your requirements. It does make a lovely newborn gift, if you want something reasonably priced yet different, and is a great little doorplaque for a child’s room with their name on.
