Handmade Monday 43

Hello and welcome to another Handmade Monday!

It’s been another busy week (is there any other kind?) – in between popping down to London to visit a gorgeous new baby, making up customer orders, scrabbling together stock for a school fair and trying to keep up with publicity I seem to have generated somehow, there’s not been a lot of spare time.

The school fair was a fabulous one: well-attended, well-organised, lots of spending in evidence and also some evidence of mums letting their hair down a little bit too.  Freely flowing wine always helps with sales, don’t you find?!  And possibly best of all, it was only a minute or two away (the kind of distance you’d walk if you didn’t have what seemed like a shipping container full of stock).

And publicity?  Yes, it seems there may be a couple of upcoming snippets in magazines: I’m hoping the little piece promised for Craftseller Issue 6 will mention Handmade Monday too!  Watch out for it :-)   I’m expecting a mention in Popular Crafts magazine soon too but so much was talked about I’m not sure what that will entail – they have quite a few of my product photos and a rare one of me!

I’ve also signed up to a trial on Press Loft.  I’ll let you know how that goes – it was a too-good-to-miss special offer, which seems a great way of finding out if it will work for me.

It’s over to you now – leave your blog link below if you’re  joining in.  Please remember to link back within your post and enjoy browsing the other blogs, too :-)

(PS: Have you by any chance seen my campervan clock in a Sunday supplement today? I’ve had an unexpected rush of orders for them via Swanky Maison and am wondering if they’re featured somewhere.  It would be lovely to know!)
