For me, it’s been a week of prepping lots of stock

and of life size furry squirrels waving and dancing.  My, he must’ve been warm under all that fur!

It was a fabulous day – very busy, a great buzz and lots of fun.  All credit must go to the organisers for the way they build on this every year and make each successive festival better than the last.

It’s also been a week of my middle daughter being home from London, of shopping, coffee and cakes, of girly laughter and fun and of birthdays of a vintage which should not be advertised: my Other Half and I share a birthday today.  He is older than me (I have to get that one in).  Not by much, but when you get to my advanced years you have to claw back every bit you possibly can
