I’m not sure life gets any better than this.  Sitting in a warm sunny studio, painting up orders, the sun bouncing off the painting and the paint drying almost immediately (oh joy!).

I’m loving this unexpected heatwave we’re having here in the UK at the moment! (I know they said it was coming, but they’re wrong more often than they’re right so, for me at least, it truly was unexpected.)

I think I may have to remind myself of this sunny spell when I’m complaining about the ice and snow in a few months’ time.  For now, though, I’m just making the most of it.  Orders do seem to slow down when the sun shines (people are obviously out and about, rather than sitting in and buying!) but there are benefits to that too.  I may even find some time for a little gardening this afternoon!
